While We’re Away (Lion Country, Series 2)

In late 2009 a film crew from ITV visited Antelope Park in Zimbabwe, and Lion Encounter in Zambia, to begin filming Lion Country, orignally a six-part series on ALERT’s African Lion Rehabilitation & Release into the Wild Program, and featuring British conservationist and ALERT’s Chief Operating Officer, David Youldon.  Series 1 debuted in early 2010 to roaring reviews, and soon after ITV began filming Series 2, which aired in early 2011.
